First off I want to thank you for all the comments. We do read them all and it is nice to hear from everyone.
Today was the first of 4 sea days on our way to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. When we got up it was very rough, lots of swells and white caps but it settled down around 10am. I went to Maj Jongg and Kathy went to the gym. In honor of New Years and since we were in port yesterday they did a huge brunch up on the pool deck from 10am to 2pm. They had stations all over the pool serving lots of different things. It was a little warm if you were sitting in the sun but very nice.
The pool deck with the New years brunch
Lots of fruit carvings for the New Year.
Tons of desserts among the fruit carvings.
After lunch we hung out in the room and I sat on the balcony, which was in the shade, and read my book. Then we watched a movie on the computer and I walked deck 2 around 5pm. We had dinner with friends and then it was laundry time. We found, on previous cruises, that the best time to do laundry is around 9pm when everyone is going to the show.
Tomorrow morning we have a behind the scenes tour of the ship where they take us through the galley and the laundry and show us stuff we normally don’t see.
Another sea day tomorrow.
Hi, Cabo was one of our favourite stops, we did the whale watching both times and saw lots of whales……we feel we are doing the world cruise again…..that is until you start going to the ports we all missed due to covid. XxM & M. Xx
We have the whale watching planned and also hope to see some as we sail in. Wish you guys were with us!
Sea days are my favorite! Gary, Kate and I leave tomorrow for an 8 day on the Rotterdam. Just 3 stops in the Caribbean with warmth! Sounds like you both are having a good time. Happy sailing.
Suzie
Thanks for following along and have a great warm cruise.
