Today was a lazy sea day. I did get to play Mahjong this am and there were a few experienced players but lots of people that wanted to learn. There were a few players that get off in LA but several people that are going the whole way. For clarification for this world cruise you can get on in 2 places. The first is Ft Lauderdale and the second is LA where will will dock on January 9th. So we have lots of folks that are just on board for a holiday cruise and they will get off in LA. After the folks get on in LA no one else can join.

We also spent time today organizing the room and finding a place for everything. They did a reception this evening for world cruisers and introduced senior staff, guest lecturers and entertainers. We continue to see people that we know from the 21/22 world cruise which is nice.

The boat is decorated some for Christmas but not a ton.

Tomorrow is Cozumel, Mexico and there will be 3 other cruise ships in port besides us. I guess everything is still going to be open since so many tourists in town.

This is in the atrium and we are at the top of the stairs looking at the decorations. Behind the piano is a huge gingerbread display.

The special world cruise event and the auditorium was packed and they displayed the world cruise logo on the screen. In 21/22 they had nothing up to show there were world cruisers until after LA, Nice that they are doing it a little bit earlier this cruise.

When we got back to the room we had our world cruise bling laying on the bed. We got nice jackets that say 23/24 world cruise and 2 totes that also have the logo on it. We also got a map of where we are going and the back is a magnet and the front is laminated. You also got a magnetic marker so you can follow the route.
